Giving reflects a grateful heart that others will generously and joyfully receive every week through the local church ministry of Hope City Church. Where we spend our treasure, our hearts follow. And as a church family, we consider it a privilege to give our money to such a worthy cause.
You can use online giving three ways (debit card, automatic withdrawal or credit card) to make a one-time contribution or set up a recurring schedule for your tithe and/or offerings. Here are a few more benefits we frequently hear about online giving.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Where does my money go?
A: When you give online, you’ll see that your money goes directly to the Hope City Church account (which may also show up as Macomb County Church Plant because we opened the account before we even had a name)! The Hope City Church account funds all aspects of the church, such as purchasing equipment, renting a facility and outreach ministry to our community.
Q: Can I schedule recurring donations?
A: Yes, you can specify a weekly or monthly donation. You can schedule as many weekly or monthly recurring donations as you need.
Q: Will I still receive a contribution statement?
A: Yes, we will mail your year-end giving statement directly to your address.
Q: What if I need to change credit card information, transaction date or the amount of a contribution?
A: You can view, edit, or delete a scheduled contribution at anytime, as long as you created an account on the giving page. If there is ever a problem, you can also contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Q: Is online giving secure?
A: Yes. We’ve taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. We take security very seriously. All information is encrypted with 256 bit SSL encryption. SSL is an acronym for “Secure Socket Layer”, a security protocol that provides communications privacy over the Internet. It is the same technology used by banks and e-commerce companies such as Amazon.com to keep your information safe and secure during transactions.
Q: Can I give things other than money?
A: Yes. If a cash gift is not an option for you, consider some of these creative giving ideas:
• Coin collections
Q: Who do I talk to if I have more questions?
